Leading online betting company 1XBet and Nigeria Premier League powerhouse Akwa United have prolonged their partnership by another year, solidifying their shirt sponsorship arrangement.

The collaboration initially took shape during the 2022-23 Nigeria Premier Football League season.

As the contract concluded, both entities willingly decided to renew the deal, extending their amicable partnership for the upcoming 2023-24 NPFL season.

Addressing the extension of the sponsorship with Akwa United, Dr. Oluwafemi Babalola, the Managing Director of 1XBet in Nigeria, underscored the club’s fervor and determination for triumph in Nigerian club football.
