Betano-The Next Titan Season 11 Introduces ‘Be The Relentless’ Theme Ahead of Premiere

Once again, aspiring young entrepreneurs and those looking for opportunities to expand their innovations can realise their dreams as Betano – The Next Titan, Nigeria’s premier entrepreneurial reality television show, returns for Season 11.

The highly anticipated new season is returning on the theme ‘Be The Relentless’ in partnership with Betano, as the title sponsor. Speaking at a pre-season media brunch, held recently at the Marriott Ikeja Hotel, the organizers expressed their excitement over the partnership with Betano, a premium online sports betting and gaming brand.

The collaboration marks a significant milestone in the programme’s journey of promoting entrepreneurship, innovation and youth empowerment, while reinforcing a shared commitment to creating opportunities for young Nigerians with bold business ideas and entrepreneurial ambition.

Like previous editions, Season 11 will air for 10 weeks on major television stations across Nigeria and will feature a N50 million grand prize for the winner and runners-up. With the support of Betano and other strategic sponsors and partners, this season promises to be the most competitive and impactful yet. Speaking ahead of the new season, Mide Akinlaja, Executive Producer of the show, expressed appreciation to Betano for believing in the vision of igniting the entrepreneurial spirit of young Nigerians.

According to him, Betano-The Next Titan is Nigeria’s foremost entrepreneurial reality show, bringing together aspiring entrepreneurs from across the country by providing them with a platform to compete for a grand prize and other rewards to either launch their dream businesses or support existing ventures.

Apart from being a competition platform and the longest-running, most consistent entrepreneurial reality show in Africa, Akinlaja noted that the objective of the show is to provoke the entrepreneurial spirit of Nigerians.

The show searches for young talents with great ideas and the right attitude to demonstrate their entrepreneurial acumen, showcasing them as role models on television and influencing the mindsets of millions of other young Nigerians to see entrepreneurship as a viable career option.

Betano-The Next Titan vividly weaves the intricate tapestry of the entrepreneurial journey, portraying both its challenges and triumphs, while bringing raw, unfiltered experiences, learning and entertainment directly to viewers.

The captivating 10-week show serves as a platform for unearthing innovation, fostering creativity and unleashing the potential of young Nigerians. It features ambitious entrepreneurs competing through rigorous business challenges, strategic decision-making tasks and real-world execution scenarios, with leading business executives serving as judges.

“We are delighted to welcome Betano as our Title Sponsor for Season 11, and our other strategic sponsors. This partnership goes beyond sponsorship; it represents a shared belief that Nigeria’s greatest asset is the creativity, resilience and enterprise of its young people. Together, we are investing in dreams, building future business leaders and contributing to Nigeria’s economic development.”

Also speaking at the pre-season brunch, Daniel Lamberti, Senior Business Development Advisor for Betano in Africa, said:

“Supporting another season of Betano – The Next Titan reflects our long-term commitment to Nigeria, our continual focus on innovation and our ambition to invest in partnerships that make a meaningful contribution to the communities where we operate.”

Auditions for Season 11 will commence in August and will take place in Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt and Enugu, providing aspiring entrepreneurs across the country with the opportunity to compete for a place on Nigeria’s biggest entrepreneurial television platform.

Outstanding participants from the auditions will advance to an intensive three-day Top 50 Entrepreneurship Bootcamp, where they will undergo rigorous business training, leadership development and practical enterprise challenges.

At the conclusion of the Bootcamp, 20 exceptional finalists will be unveiled during a grand opening ceremony before moving into the Titan House for an exciting 10-week competition featuring business tasks, innovation challenges, mentorship sessions and weekly eliminations that will ultimately produce the Season 11 champion.

For more than a decade, the programme has served as a catalyst for entrepreneurship, inspiring young Nigerians to embrace innovation, business ownership and self-reliance. Through its unique blend of education, competition and entertainment, it has become the country’s leading television platform for identifying and nurturing entrepreneurial talent.

While Betano is the title sponsor, other sponsors and supporters include Cadbury as Gold Sponsor; Sifax as Silver Sponsor; Parallex; Arik Air as the official airline of the show; and Nigerite, Veritasi Homes and GIGM as Bronze Sponsors. The event also featured other exciting activities, including two fireside chats. The first featured previous winners and runners-up, who spoke about the impact the show has had on their lives and entrepreneurial journeys. Participants included Pearl Ubani, Season 10 winner; Stephanie, Season 10 runner-up; Victor Emaye, Season 9 runner-up; and Rotimi Egbewunmi from Season 3.

The second fireside chat, centred on the need to build the next generation of Nigerian entrepreneurs, featured Ric Hassani, entrepreneur and music star; Blessing Obasi, entrepreneur and celebrity; Daniel Lamberti, Senior Business Development Advisor for Betano in Africa; and Rotimi Egbewunmi, entrepreneur.

However, the organizers commended all sponsors and supporters, noting that their individual and collective investments in Season 11 demonstrate the growing role of responsible corporate partnerships in advancing youth development and economic inclusion in Nigeria. As preparations gather momentum, the organizers have invited the Nigerian public to be part of a season that promises to inspire millions and celebrate the limitless potential of Nigerian enterprise.

“Season 11 is more than a television programme, it is a national platform for discovering ideas, nurturing innovation, creating opportunities and celebrating the entrepreneurial spirit that defines the future of Nigeria,” Akinlaja urged.
