The National Lottery of Burkina Faso (LONAB) held a team-building day for its staff on October 3, 2026. Under the banner of cohesion, collective commitment, and strengthening professional relationships, the event brought together the General Director and all staff members mobilized for the occasion.
As part of the company’s activities, the day provided a relaxing and sharing environment through various fun and interactive activities. Beyond the recreational aspect, the initiative aimed to consolidate team spirit and strengthen collaboration between LONAB’s different teams.
In his opening remarks, the General Director, Comrade Ibrahim Ben Harouna ZARANI, praised the strong mobilization of staff and emphasized the strategic importance of the initiative for the company’s future.
“This activity reminds us that we must move forward together. It is through teamwork that we succeed. Team building has its full meaning because it contributes to strengthening staff motivation, social cohesion, commitment, and professional relationships.”
The first in charge of LONAB also encouraged participants to fully benefit from the workshops and exercises, aimed at further improving communication, solidarity, and team collaboration.
Throughout the day, staff members took part in activities that promoted mutual support, listening, and coordination, values that the General Directorate intends to reinforce as levers for performance in support of the company’s modernization vision.
At the close of the activities, the General Director reviewed the key lessons from the exercise, stressing the importance for each staff member to develop team spirit and resilience in order to achieve institutional goals.
“No one will succeed alone, regardless of their skills. Without team spirit, motivation, commitment, and cohesion, we cannot succeed. It is together that we will overcome the challenges ahead.”
He also urged collaborators to take ownership of the company’s strategic directions and to continue their efforts in an atmosphere of mutual trust and collaboration. This team-building day enabled participants to recharge, strengthen their professional ties, and reaffirm their shared commitment to contributing to an increasingly effective, innovative, and firmly focused LONAB by 2027.
