Playson, a digital entertainment supplier, has strengthened its presence in South Africa through a new partnership with World Sports Betting (WSB), bringing a selection of its slot games to a wider audience.
Under the agreement, World Sports Betting will integrate Playson’s portfolio through Light & Wonder’s aggregation platform. The operator plans to introduce selected titles from Playson’s established Hold and Win series to its casino offering gradually.
The initial rollout will include Coin Strike: Hold and Win, Thunder Coins: Hold and Win, and Thunder Coins XXL: Hold and Win. Additional Playson titles are expected to be introduced as the partnership develops.
World Sports Betting operates across South Africa and has been an established participant in the country’s iGaming market since its launch. The operator offers customers a broad selection of betting and gaming content.
The agreement further expands Playson’s growing network of partnerships across Africa, supporting its strategy to strengthen its presence in regulated markets worldwide. It also highlights the supplier’s continued focus on delivering slot games featuring engaging gameplay and established performance records.
Blanka Homor, Sales Director at Playson, said the partnership would support the company’s expansion across the region.
“World Sports Betting is a leading name in the South African market, making this a valuable partnership as we continue to expand our presence across the region.
“Our Hold and Win portfolio has resonated strongly in regulated markets throughout the continent, and we look forward to providing new players with an enriched gaming experience, driven by compelling mechanics and data-driven insights.”
A representative of World Sports Betting also welcomed the agreement, highlighting the opportunity to expand the operator’s casino content and enhance its entertainment offering.
“We are pleased to be adding Playson’s content to our casino offering, giving our players access to a proven selection of top-performing titles.
“World Sports Betting is committed to delivering first-class entertainment experiences, and this integration reinforces that commitment as we continue to lead the way for iGaming across South Africa.”
The partnership marks another step in Playson’s African expansion, with the initial game launch expected to introduce its Hold and Win titles to more players through World Sports Betting’s casino platform.
