LONACI Foundation Distributes 720 School Kits to Students in Aboisso

LONACI Foundation Distributes 720 School Kits to Students in Aboisso

The LONACI Foundation distributed 720 school kits to students at three public primary schools in Aboisso on October 13, 2026. The first kits went to 100 students at EPP Marie-Emmanuelle Diamala, named after Miss Côte d’Ivoire 2024.

“I thank the LONACI Foundation, which enabled me to travel to Aboisso to hand over these kits to the children. Thank you for your commitment. I also thank the teachers, who give their time and share their knowledge to teach children to read and write,” said the 2024 Miss Côte d’Ivoire.

Students at EPP Sokoura received 370 kits, while 250 were distributed to students at the Bakro primary school, named after Miss Côte d’Ivoire 2022, Marlène Kouassi. Marc Sakoa Guédé, executive director of the LONACI Foundation, said its social mission focuses on community projects in health, education, water and sanitation, and other areas that improve people’s well-being.

He said the Foundation had organised its first nationwide school-kit distribution over two days to support students at the start of the school year. The Aboisso distribution was carried out by the executive director and the Foundation’s director of social action on behalf of Dramane Coulibaly, LONACI’s managing director and chair of the Foundation’s board.

“Through its Foundation, LONACI will always stand with communities and parents to help ensure children can attend school in good conditions,” Guédé said.

M’Bahia Dominique, the Foundation’s director of social action, also highlighted its work in the area. This includes support for EPP Marlène Kouassi, formerly known as EPP SOS; the school canteen in Krindjabo; housing for the sub-prefect of Aboisso; and the rehabilitation of a school in Maféré. Administrative and local authorities attended the event, reflecting the community’s involvement in the Foundation’s initiatives.
