MELBET Kenya partnered with local community-based organization Galaxy Nairobi Wellness Organization to support 100 families in Kahawa Wendani.

The initiative took place alongside the MELBET Kahawa Community Cup 2026, bringing together grassroots football and a family-focused gift-package programme under the theme “100 Families, 100 Packages, One Community.”

The tournament featured 24 teams and offered local players an opportunity to compete and connect with the community. FRAY FC won the competition, followed by Zinco Mabati (FC Galaxy Ndo) in second place and Kahawa Eagles in third.

MELBET said its partnership with Galaxy Nairobi Wellness Organization helped bring residents together through sport while keeping family and community welfare at the center of the event.

The Kahawa Community Cup highlights how local sporting events can showcase talent, strengthen community ties and create opportunities for businesses and community organizations to work together.
