Betclic Côte d’Ivoire took part in ADICOM Days, Africa’s leading digital summit held in Abidjan, where the company engaged industry stakeholders and the public on responsible gaming and the balance between technological innovation and user protection.
The participation formed part of Betclic Côte d’Ivoire’s broader commitment to promoting safer gaming practices and encouraging informed, responsible engagement across digital entertainment platforms. Throughout the event, the team contributed to discussions on how innovation in the gaming sector can be aligned with stronger safeguards for users.
As part of its activation at the summit, Betclic Côte d’Ivoire presented an interactive and educational experience designed to make responsible gaming more tangible. Built around the Betclic Protect programme, the experience allowed visitors to better understand their playing habits through personalised insights and guidance, helping them reflect on their behaviour and encouraging more conscious gaming practices.
A key moment of the event was the unveiling of Betclic’s new Safer Gaming 2026 campaign, titled “Play with your head, not your nerves.” The campaign delivers a clear and direct message focused on emotional awareness and responsible play, reinforcing the importance of maintaining control while engaging in gaming activities.
The initiative was further amplified by the presence of Willy Dumbo, an acclaimed Ivorian comedian and television host, who serves as the face of the campaign. His involvement helped strengthen the connection with local audiences by grounding the message in familiar cultural references and making responsible gaming messaging more relatable and impactful.
Through initiatives that combine education, innovation, and cultural relevance, Betclic Côte d’Ivoire continues to strengthen its commitment to safer gaming and responsible entertainment across the region.
