The Gaming Supervision Institute (ISJ) strengthens its institutional presence at the national level by expanding its activities to several provinces of Angola. On 23 April, institutional visits to Malanje, Benguela, Cabinda and Huíla began, led by ISJ Director General Dr. Nerethz Tati and Deputy Director General Dr. Cláudio Paulo, accompanied by technical teams from the Institute.

During the trips, high-level meetings were held with government entities, namely Dr. Duarte André Ginga, Vice-Governor for Technical Services and Infrastructure of the Province of Malanje; Dr. Suzana de Abreu, Governor of the Province of Cabinda; Dr. Cátia Cachuco, Vice-Governor for the Political, Social and Economic Sector of Benguela; and Dr. Nuno Mahapi Dala, Governor of the Province of Huíla.

Working meetings were also conducted with key institutions of the justice and security system, including the Attorney General’s Office (PGR), the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC), the State Intelligence and Security Service (SINSE), and the National Police, with the aim of strengthening inter-institutional cooperation.

This initiative forms part of the ISJ’s strategy to strengthen the capacity for field supervision, step up the fight against illegal gambling, promote legal compliance in the sector, and consolidate responsible gaming practices. According to Dr. Nerethz Tati, this expansion represents a structuring step toward closer and more effective action aligned with the challenges facing the sector.

The ISJ thus reaffirms its commitment to legality, transparency and the protection of the public interest, contributing to a more wholesome, safe and sustainable gaming sector in Angola.
