Betpawa proudly participated as a Bronze sponsor in the inaugural Corporate Run held on Sunday, October 13th. This event aimed to raise awareness about the critical issue of maternal health complications in Uganda.
Ian Rumanyika, Chairman at Corporate Games Uganda, emphasized the importance of the initiative, stating, “In Uganda, maternal mortality remains a critical issue. The Corporate Run seeks to raise awareness about maternal health complications. We are committed to using this platform to create awareness and support mothers in need.”
Ivy Nyonyozi Igunduura, Betpawa’s Country Marketing Manager in Uganda, added, “Supporting this event is a way to give back to the community that trusts our brand.”
All proceeds from the Corporate Run will be utilized to purchase essential kits for expectant mothers in Northern and Eastern Uganda, where access to vital delivery equipment is severely limited.
