Flutterwave Setting Up Territorial Headquarter in Kenya

Flutterwave, the African fintech firm is setting up its territorial headquarter for East Africa in Nairobi Kenya.

This declaration was made by the company’s chief administrative and government relations Officer, Oluwabankole Falade amid

the third American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) Commerce Summit held in Nairobi final week.

“We recognize the important part Kenya plays within the East African locale and the country’s business-friendly environment and advanced capability,” said Mr Falade.

“As a commerce with African roots and headquartered in San Francisco, we are mindful of the significance of enabling the

little commerce proprietors, an objective shared by the Kenyan administration,” he included.

The declaration comes fair a month after the fintech giant secured two extra licenses to function in Rwanda.

The company gotten its Electronic Cash Backer and Settlement Licenses from the National Bank of Rwanda,

permitting it to grow its operations within the East African country.

Flutterwave was a sponsor of the AmCham event which brought together the AmChams over East Africa, along with a senior

U.S. government appointment, U.S. financial specialists assembled by the U.S. Division of Commerce, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Africa Trade Center.

It too included East African businesses and authorities, to chart modern ways for improved US commercial engagement with Kenya and the East Africa Locale.

“We are moreover happy of the back we have gotten from the Government of Kenya, AmCham partners and authority over the locale,

and we are glad to have chosen to bolster the Summit and see numerous other worldwide firms who we work with such as Amazon and

Uber choosing to settle here as well. We are in great company,” Mr. Falade concluded.
