LONAB and Ambassador Kabore Discuss National Sports Ambitions

The General Manager of the National Lottery Burkinabè (LONAB), Mr. Ibrahim Ben Harouna ZARANI hosted the Ambassador for Sport His Excellency Mr. Charles Kabore, the meeting was focused on enhancing Burkina Faso’s international reputation through sports.

Ambassador Kabore, appointed by President Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, shared his mission to elevate the image of Burkina Faso globally by showcasing its athletes and sporting potential. Recognizing LONAB’s significant role in promoting sports, he sought to connect with Mr. ZARANI to discuss collaborative efforts.

During the meeting, Ambassador Kabore highlighted the upcoming reopening of the national stadium on August 4, following its renovation and approval by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). He emphasized that this event presents a valuable opportunity to project a positive image of Burkina Faso.

In response, Mr. ZARANI expressed his honor at the Ambassador’s visit and reaffirmed LONAB’s commitment to support him in achieving his goals. He also acknowledged Ambassador Kabore’s contributions during the launch and promotion of LONAB’s sports betting initiative, LONABET.

Ambassador Kabore, a distinguished former captain of the Stallions, aims to leverage his experience and influence to foster greater involvement in sports development across Burkina Faso, making it a source of national pride and international recognition.
