The seminar for the development of the Strategic Development Plan (PSD) 2026-2030, with a forward-looking perspective toward 2035, commenced on Monday at the Hotel des Savanes in Assinie. The event was presided over by Mr. Coulibaly Drama, Director General of LONACI.
The first phase of the workshop, held on June 30 and July 1, brought together members of the LONACI Steering Committee, LONACI FOUNDATION, and Heads of Department. This initial gathering focused on adopting the strategic framework and defining priority programs and projects.
In his opening remarks delivered via video conference, Mr. Dramane Coulibaly emphasized the critical role of this strategic plan in shaping the institution’s priorities and actions over the next five years, while also integrating an ambitious vision for 2035. He highlighted the progress LONACI has made since the implementation of previous PSDs since 2012.
“The PSD 2026-2030 / Perspectives 2035 will build on our successes and shape the future of LONACI,” Mr. Coulibaly stated.
The Deputy General Manager, Mr. Abdoulkarim Ouattara, participated in the launch, reinforcing the importance of the workshop.
On July 2, service heads and focal points engaged in the second phase of the workshop, focusing on the operationalization of the PSD. Mr. Coulibaly urged all staff to embrace the PSD, underscoring that each individual plays a vital role in its success.
The seminar, rich with reflections, presentations, and exchanges, aims to produce a reference document that will serve as a guiding compass for the years ahead. The workshop will conclude on Saturday, July 5.
