The National Lottery of Guinea (LONAGUI) has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Guinean youth and the development of the country’s sporting sector through its social responsibility initiatives.
LONAGUI said its mission extends beyond its gaming activities, with a broader focus on supporting initiatives that contribute to youth development, social cohesion and the growth of sport in Guinea. The company highlighted the LONAGUI League Cup as an example of this commitment.
The third edition of the competition brought together 24 clubs from Guinea’s Ligue 1 and Ligue 2, providing young footballers with a structured competitive environment to develop and showcase their talent. The final saw FC Séquence defeat RCC Kamsar 4-2 to claim the title.
According to LONAGUI, the significance of the competition extends beyond the final result, with the partnership between the lottery, the Guinean Football Federation and the Guinean Professional Football League aimed at establishing a long-term framework for supporting football and youth development.
LONAGUI said the partnership reflects its broader social responsibility strategy, which seeks to support initiatives that strengthen social ties, promote merit and provide young people with opportunities to develop their potential through sport.
The company congratulated FC Séquence on winning the third edition of the competition and commended RCC Kamsar for reaching the final.
LONAGUI also called for broader discussion around the role companies can play in supporting the development and revitalisation of sport, particularly through structured and sustainable partnerships with sporting institutions and youth-focused initiatives.
