Mr. Toussaint Manga, Director General of LONASE, participated today in an important negotiation meeting in Abidjan, involving the National Lottery Companies that are members of the African Lotteries Association (ALA) and PMU France.
The primary objective of this meeting is to establish a new, more balanced partnership framework. This framework aims to ensure that the royalties paid by our African companies are reviewed in a manner that is fairer and more beneficial to our interests.
“As Director General of LONASE, I am committed to defending Senegal’s interests, said Mr. Manga. It is crucial that our country fully capitalizes on its involvement in the gaming sector while fostering strengthened, transparent, and mutually beneficial cooperation.”
Mr. Manga emphasized the significance of such initiatives, stating, “Through this type of collaboration, we will be able to sustainably modernize our sector, increase our economic room for maneuver, and assert our sovereignty over the gaming ecosystem in Africa.”
This meeting marks a pivotal step in enhancing the collaboration between African lottery companies and international partners, paving the way for a more equitable future in the gaming industry.
