“Premier Bet is the best sports betting company in the country and we choose the best to represent us. Gaba has proved to be one of the finest sports personalities in Malawi following a survey we did. According to our survey, over 90 percent of the Malawians involved praise and respect him,” – he said.

Younes said Gaba will also be involved in other initiatives such as the establishment of football academies in the country’s three regions.

“Gaba is capable of influencing the new generation talent. He is the best and he will promote the best brand and this will be a best partnership,” – he said.

In reaction, Mhango said he is delighted for a new role consideration.

“I am looking forward to a good working relationship. This is a very exciting development for me and I am happy to be part of the Premier Bet Malawi family.

It is a company that has employed over three thousand Malawians.

I feel so good to be part of them and I am aware that the company is constructing a netball Academy in Zi Gwangwa.

I welcome the idea to have football academies and I want to be part of that,” – he said.

Mhango isn’t in the Flames squad to face Ethiopia on Tuesday in the Africa Cup of Nations Group D qualifier due to injury.

The forward will return to South Africa on Sunday.

Previously, he was brand ambassador for Airtel Top 8 Cup (2017), Hope for Cancer Foundation (2018), H. Adam (2022) and Gluco Power (2012).
