According to a recent order from the Prime Minister’s office, the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) has been appointed as the new regulatory authority for gaming activities in the country.

In this capacity, the RDB is currently leading a review of the policy and regulatory framework governing the gaming industry in Rwanda. As part of this process, the issuance of new gaming licenses and the renewal of expired licenses has been temporarily suspended until the new policy is approved.

The RDB has stated that updates will continue to be provided through their official channels. For any inquiries, the public and potential applicants are advised to reach out to info@rdb.rw.
