The MAP Games soccer tournament – affectionately known as the Kasi World Cup – was founded in 2001 and is led by former Bafana Bafana midfielder, Alfred Maimane Phiri.
Since its inception, the tournament has taken place annually and has created a professional and well-organised platform for aspiring soccer players,
coaches and administrators from all across South Africa and bordering countries to showcase their skills and passion for the game.
The MAP Games currently have the largest support base in comparison to other township tournaments of its kind.
