betPawa Uganda has contributed UGX 10 million towards the Corporate League games, supporting an initiative aimed at raising funds to provide 5,000 Mama Kits to expectant mothers in need.
Representing betPawa Uganda at the initiative, a company representative said the contribution reflects the importance of businesses playing an active role in supporting the communities in which they operate.
“Initiatives like this are a reminder that our responsibility as businesses, including betPawa, goes beyond what happens within our offices or our industry. We are part of communities, and we have a role to play in addressing some of the challenges that affect the people around us,” the representative said.
The Mama Kit campaign, supported by betPawa, seeks to provide expectant mothers with essential items needed to prepare for childbirth. The initiative is particularly focused on supporting women and families who may face difficulties accessing these basic necessities.
The betPawa Uganda representative said every expectant mother deserves access to the essentials needed for the arrival of her child, describing support for the campaign as a meaningful way to help mothers have a safer and more dignified experience.
Public invites to Corporate League on Oct 11, 2026, at NEC Grounds, Bugolobi, with proceeds supporting betPawa and Mama Kits.
The initiative highlights the role of corporate participation in community-focused programmes and supports efforts to improve maternal welfare in Uganda through betPawa.
