Ghana NLA Pays GH¢10 million Dividend to Consolidated Fund

The National Lottery Authority (NLA) has paid a GH¢10 million dividend to Ghana’s Consolidated Fund through the Ministry of Finance, reaffirming the Authority’s contribution to national development and public finances.

The dividend was formally presented by NLA Director-General Mohammed Abdul-Salam to representatives of the Ministry of Finance.

During the presentation, Abdul-Salam highlighted ongoing reforms at the NLA aimed at improving operational efficiency, strengthening transparency and enhancing revenue generation.

The Authority said the latest contribution reflects its continued commitment to financial accountability and responsible management of revenues generated through its operations.

The payment also underscores the NLA’s role in supporting Ghana’s broader national development objectives through contributions to the Consolidated Fund.

The NLA said it remains focused on implementing reforms that will strengthen its operations, improve revenue performance and ensure that its contribution to national development is sustained.

The GH¢10 million dividend adds to the Authority’s role as a key contributor to Ghana’s public finances and reflects its stated commitment to good governance, transparency and accountability.
