The Management of the National Lottery Authority (NLA) wishes to remind all Private Lotto Operators (PLOs), Agents, and Writers that, following the extension of the deadline for the cessation of manual lotto operations, the use of manual paper operations should cease by 1st October, 2026.

All PLOs, Agents, and Writers who fail to comply with this directive will not be permitted to operate and will face the full rigours of the law. The NLA therefore urges all stakeholders to take the necessary steps to align with the Authority’s requirements within the stated time-frame.

During this transition period, all concerned parties are encouraged to ensure proper coordination with the NLA for verification and guidance on compliant operations. The Authority also advises stakeholders to avoid any activities that may lead to irregularities, disputes, or interruptions in lotto service delivery.
