The Gambling Authority and the Lesotho Casino Board have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The agreement, signed by Gambling Authority Board Chairman Mr. Marvin T. Torto and Lesotho Casino Board Chairman Mr. Pokello Mahlomola, marks a major step forward in promoting integrity, transparency, and responsible gambling within the region.
The MoU sets the stage for collaboration in key areas such as: Knowledge-sharing in licensing and compliance; Joint efforts in anti-money laundering and responsible gambling as well as Capacity building through training, technical support and staff exchanges
“This partnership is a reflection of our shared values – good governance, fairness, and innovation,” said Mr. Torto. “We are excited to walk this journey with our Lesotho counterparts and build a stronger, more resilient regulatory environment.”
