The National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board (NLGRB), in collaboration with the Uganda Police, has strengthened their efforts to combat illegal gaming operations across Uganda. In a series of activities, over 154 unauthorized gaming machines has been confiscated from Mpigi, Masaka, and neighboring towns.

The joint operation highlights the NLGRB’s commitment to upholding the integrity of Uganda’s gaming industry and protecting the public from the harmful effects of unregulated gambling.

They extend their sincere gratitude to the Uganda Police for their steadfast support, and to all members of the public who continue to share critical information about illegal operations

The NLGRB urges citizens to remain vigilant and to report any knowledge of individuals or entities involved in the assembly, distribution, or sale of unauthorized gaming machines. Reports or formal complaints can be submitted through the Board’s toll-free line at 0800 285 800 or via email at info@lgrb.go.ug.

The Board reiterates its commitment to building a safe, fair, and transparent gaming industry, free from illegal practices and their negative consequences.

Together, we can foster responsible gaming and safeguard public welfare.
