BetPawa has officially launched the journey towards the construction of a 3,000-capacity stadium at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram, following the completion of a new playing pitch unveiled today.

The completed playing surface was commissioned during the 30th Ordinary Session of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

The legacy project stemming from the 2022/23 season partnership between betPawa and the Ghana Football Association is part of concerted efforts to develop the game of football in the country.

The construction of the artificial pitch at the proposed stadium christened ‘betPawa Park’ began last year as part of the support initiatives the betting brand is working on towards the elevation of football in Ghana.

“We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with the GFA on this project, which I know will go a long way in increasing the number of FIFA-accredited stadiums in the country,” said betPawa’s Country Marketing Manager Nii Armah Ashong-Katai.

The Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence is the technical centre of the GFA and considered the home of Ghanaian football.

betPawa and the GFA initiated their partnership in 2022 when we became the Ghana Premier League’s headline sponsor.

“The Ghana Football Association appreciates the continued support by betPawa for Ghana football. In a very short space of time, betPawa has made awesome contributions to the development of our game,” said Kurt Simeon-Okraku, the GFA President.

The GFA President added that he believes the relationship with betPawa shall continue to thrive for many years to come.
