The 2023-2024 betPawa Big League season came to a close last Sunday, June 2nd, at the Mbale municipal stadium in eastern Uganda. The event was held in partnership with the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA).
The hotly contested final match saw the Uganda Police Force’s football team, Police FC, emerge victorious, clinching both the final fixture win and the overall season title. Fans packed the stadium, creating an electric atmosphere as they cheered on their favorite teams.
As part of the event, betPawa hosted an activation zone where new customers were registered, and fans were invited to participate in dribbling and penalty shoot-out challenges as well as trivia sessions. betPawa-branded merchandise was distributed to the enthusiastic crowd.
The players in the betPawa Big League displayed remarkable talent, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship throughout the season. At the season-end award ceremony, accolades were presented to the Most Valuable Player, Top Scorer, Best Goalkeeper, Fair Play team of the season, and Best Coach, recognizing the outstanding contributions of individuals and teams across the league.
