The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) and KONAMI Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd., a leading interactive entertainment company, have finalized an agreement making KONAMI the Official Gaming Sponsor of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) for the 2025 and 2027 editions.
As part of this partnership, KONAMI will have exclusive gaming rights to recreate the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON within its globally renowned football video game franchise, eFootball™
CAF General Secretary Véron Mosengo-Omba stated, “The TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 will be one of the most exciting and widely followed editions of our flagship competition.
Our partnership with KONAMI reflects CAF’s commitment to innovation, global fan engagement, and creating new opportunities for African youth in both football and digital spaces.”
This partnership marks a significant advancement in CAF’s digital transformation strategy, enhancing fan experiences and reaffirming the organization’s long-term commitment to football development across Africa.

The TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 will take place from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
