EuroMatch Group Explores Technology and Sports Investment Opportunities in Nigeria

EuroMatch Group has met with Senator John Owan Enoh, Nigeria’s Minister of State for Industry at the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, following the company’s official launch in Nigeria.

According to EuroMatch Group, the meeting brought together the company’s President, Sam Sacli, and CEO, Utku Sarper, for discussions on its long-term digital and technology investments in Nigeria.

The discussions focused on the company’s presence in the Nigerian market and how its digital and technological investments could contribute to the country’s local economic and sporting ecosystem.

EuroMatch Group described the meeting as an important step following its entry into Nigeria, highlighting its interest in establishing a long-term presence and supporting technology development and investment opportunities in the country.

The company also linked the engagement to its upcoming participation in the Economic Forum in Karpacz, Poland, held from September 8 to 10, where it was scheduled to participate in a panel titled “From Poland to the Global South.”

The panel was expected to examine experiences involving technology transfer and investments in markets across the Global South, with EuroMatch Group set to share perspectives from its international expansion and investment activities.

The company said the meeting with the Nigerian minister provided an opportunity to discuss its ambitions in Nigeria and the broader role of technology and investment in supporting economic and sporting development.

EuroMatch Group is continuing to expand its activities in international markets, with Nigeria forming part of its focus on the Global South.
