The MoU was finalized during a high-level bilateral visit held in Gaborone. The aim is to enhance collaboration in regulatory policy, responsible gambling, and innovative gaming oversight. The agreement paves the way for several future initiatives, including:

  • Namibian Delegation: Led by Dr. Wycliff Shililifa, Chairperson of the Lotteries Board, alongside CEO Dr. John Shimaneni.The signing of this MoU marks a significant milestone in cross-border regulatory alignment. It reinforces Botswana’s position as a continental leader in responsible gaming policy and institutional excellence.
