The Gambling Authority has joined exhibitors, industry stakeholders and members of the public at the official opening of the Botswana Consumer Fair 2026, which is taking place from 24 to 30 August 2026 under the theme, “Showcasing Botswana in Full Color.”

The annual fair provides an important platform for organizations and businesses to engage with consumers, share information and promote greater awareness of products, services and responsible practices.

As the Consumer Fair gets underway, the Gambling Authority is engaging visitors at its exhibition stall to provide information on responsible gambling, player protection and the importance of making informed and safe choices within the gambling industry.

Through its participation, the Authority is reinforcing its commitment to promoting a diversified, compliant and safe gambling industry while ensuring that members of the public have access to relevant information that can support responsible participation.

Members of the public attending the Botswana Consumer Fair are encouraged to visit the Gambling Authority’s stall throughout the week to interact with its team, learn more about responsible gambling and gain a better understanding of player protection measures.
