He pointed to statistical evidence indicating a troubling trend: despite the availability of educational and productive digital resources, adult content continues to dominate the online landscape.
Guru argues that Ghanaians should shift their focus from adult material to more constructive online resources, such as Bible apps and educational platforms. He believes these alternatives not only provide entertainment but also offer opportunities for personal growth and skill development that can lead to financial empowerment.
“Instead of spending time on adult content, individuals can engage with platforms that enhance their lives,” he stated. “There are numerous Bible apps and various online courses available that can help people develop skills capable of generating income. Why choose to watch pornography when there are so many productive options?”
Guru further expressed his desire for the Ghana NCA and other authorities to strengthen existing regulations and take proactive measures to block access to harmful websites that promote immoral content. “The situation in Ghana is troubling,” he noted. “Pornography sites seem to be among the most frequently visited. In contrast, places like Dubai have strict controls on such content, which helps protect societal values and promote healthier online engagement.”
