Mr. Dramane COULIBALY, General Director of LONACI, welcomed taekwondo belt athlete Laurene Kimi OSSIN to the LONACI headquarters. Laurene, who recently received the National Award of Excellence 2025 for Best Athlete, was accompanied by Mr. Patrice REMARCK, General Director of the Sports, Cultural, and ICT Center (CSCTICAO), and her father, Mr. OSSIN.
This visit highlights LONACI’s support for Laurene as she prepares for various competitions, including the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, USA. During the meeting, Laurene presented her National Award of Excellence, which she received from the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Alassane OUATTARA.
At just 17 years old, Laurene Kimi OSSIN represents the dedication and excellence of Ivorian sports on the world stage. She has quickly become a rising star in taekwondo, earning over 16 international medals, including 13 gold. Her impressive skills and respect for sportsmanship make her a role model for young athletes.
