ISJ Joins Angola Fight Against Drugs at Goodwill Ambassadors Gala

The Gaming Supervision Institute (ISJ) participated on Wednesday, October 14, in the Final Gala of the Goodwill Ambassador Contest for the Fight Against Drugs, organized by the National Association for the Fight Against Drugs (ANLD) under the SOS School Project.

The participation formed part of the activities marking Responsible Gaming Week, which celebrates the Institute’s 12th anniversary. The event was opened by the Secretary of State for Youth, Dr. Danila Bragança, and attended by representatives of the National Youth Council, municipal administrations, the National Police, partner institutions and civil society.

The President of ANLD, Engineer Cláudio Pinto, highlighted the importance of involving young people in drug prevention efforts, recognizing their talent, creativity and ability to positively influence schools and communities. He also emphasized that the Goodwill Ambassadors’ mission should extend beyond the Gala through continuous awareness campaigns, education and social mobilization initiatives.

The Gala provided an opportunity to recognize the talent and social commitment of the participants. The competition aims to develop leadership, communication and civic participation skills, preparing young people to spread messages about drug prevention and promote healthy lifestyles.

The recognition of the Goodwill Ambassadors also encourages them to continue their mission of taking prevention messages to schools and neighborhoods, inspiring informed choices and contributing to a culture of respect and support for people affected by addiction.

ISJ expressed its appreciation to the young participants, ANLD, represented by its President, Engineer Cláudio Pinto, and all the partners for their commitment and example of social responsibility. The Institute reaffirmed that preventing drug use and building a safer future for children and young people require the active participation of society as a whole.
