Aston Villa has formally acknowledged the contribution of KLUTCH Sports Group, LLC in securing the club’s new front-of-shirt partnership with Visit Rwanda, following the announcement of the tourism brand as the club’s new Principal Partner.
The Premier League club said KLUTCH Sports Group played a key role throughout the partnership process, helping to identify Visit Rwanda as a strategic commercial partner and working closely with Aston Villa’s senior business executives from the initial discussions through to the successful completion of the agreement.
The collaboration marks another significant commercial milestone for Aston Villa as the club continues to strengthen its global brand and expand its international partnerships. Francesco Calvo, Aston Villa’s President of Business Operations, praised KLUTCH Sports Group for its contribution to the deal.
“I would personally like to thank Klutch Sports Group for their extremely hard work in making this partnership a reality. Their industry expertise and business nous, coupled with a deep understanding of the landscape and our requirements, were invaluable throughout the entire process,” Calvo said.
KLUTCH Sports Group also welcomed the successful completion of the partnership, describing it as a reflection of the company’s growing international presence in the sports business sector.
“It was a privilege to represent Aston Villa and work on behalf of one of the most recognised and respected clubs in global football. This achievement reflects not only the strength of the collective team and the partnership we built throughout the process, but also the continued expansion of our company’s reach and capabilities internationally,” said Andrew Feinberg, Head of Global Partnerships at KLUTCH Sports Group.
The Visit Rwanda agreement is expected to provide Aston Villa with increased global commercial exposure while further enhancing the club’s international sponsorship portfolio. For Visit Rwanda, the partnership forms part of its broader strategy to promote Rwanda as a leading tourism and investment destination through high-profile global sports partnerships.
Aston Villa said the successful completion of the agreement highlights the value of strategic collaboration in delivering major commercial partnerships and reinforces the club’s ambition to continue building relationships with globally recognised brands.
