As part of its ongoing commitment to social development, the LONACI Foundation has made significant investments to enhance education and healthcare infrastructure across various regions of Côte d’Ivoire.
On Wednesday, December 15, 2025, the Foundation officially unveiled newly completed social infrastructures during a ceremony at its headquarters in Deux-Plateaux Vallon, Abidjan. The event was chaired by Mr. Dramane Coulibaly, President of the Board of Directors of the LONACI Foundation, and attended by members of the prefectural administration, representatives from public institutions, and the media.
Notable attendees included Mr. Abdoulkarim Ouattara, Deputy General Manager of LONACI; Mrs. Bahia Dominique, Director of Social Action; Mr. Marc Sakoa Guédé, Deputy Executive Director of the Foundation; and various representatives from administrative, customs, and media authorities.
The Foundation’s donations focus on two vital sectors: education and health infrastructure projects:
Education Sector:
- Construction and equipping of two six-class primary schools
- Establishment of one school canteen
- Construction of two housing units for teachers
Health Sector:
- Construction and equipping of a health center
- Provision of two residential units for medical staff
- Development of a health pavilion
These infrastructure projects will directly benefit the following communities: Boromba (Bondoukou, Gontougo), Duafla (Zuénoula, Marahoué), Kongossou N’Drikoffikro (Béoumi, Gbêkê), Guintéguéla (Touba, Bafing), and Tomono and Bouandougou (Mankono, Béré).
The total investment for these projects amounts to FCFA 412,929,389, reflecting the Foundation’s commitment to improving access to essential public services.
In his remarks at the ceremony, Mr. Dramane Coulibaly highlighted the long-term impact of this initiative: “Our hope is that the infrastructures provided today by the LONACI Foundation will help build a healthy, well-educated, strong, and prosperous nation.”
Through this initiative, the LONACI Foundation reaffirms its dedication to enhancing living conditions for local populations, in alignment with the social development vision of His Excellency President Alassane Ouattara and the national priorities of Côte d’Ivoire.
