LONACI Launches Awareness Campaign for Employee in Biétry

LONACI empower employee with Cancer Screening

The National Lottery of Côte d’Ivoire (LONACI) is launching a dedicated awareness and prevention campaign focused on cancer screening for its staff. This important health initiative will take place at the company’s agency in Biétry.

Under the leadership of Mr. Dramane Coulibaly, General Manager of LONACI, this campaign underscores the company’s strong commitment to the health and well-being of its employees.

The campaign will be offering mammography, breast examinations for women and prostate screening for men. These services aim to promote early detection of breast and prostate cancers two of the most common forms of cancer and are provided free of charge to all employees.

“Concern for employee well-being is central to our values at LONACI. That’s why we are supporting our social service in implementing this important initiative,” said Mr. Coulibaly.

The campaign is coordinated by Mr. Diallo Adama, Head of Social Service at LONACI. It also features the expertise of renowned medical professionals like Dr. Cheikh Tidiane, Gynecologist at the LONACI Medical Center and Professor Fofana Abdoulaye, Urologist Surgeon.

Their combined efforts ensure that staff receive high-quality medical care and accurate information about cancer risks and prevention methods. In addition to screenings, the campaign aims to raise awareness about the importance of routine health check-ups, healthy lifestyle choices, and early diagnosis in combating cancer.

“Our goal is not only to prevent disease but to create a healthier, more dynamic workforce that can fully contribute to achieving LONACI’s mission and goals,” emphasized Mr. Adama.

This campaign reflects LONACI’s broader commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sets an example for other organizations to follow. By prioritizing employee health, LONACI reinforces its vision of being not just a national lottery, but a socially engaged and people-centered institution.
