The Loterie Nationale de Côte d’Ivoire (LONACI) announced strong financial results for the 2025 fiscal year, showcasing significant increases in payouts to players and contributions to the Ivorian state. At the traditional New Year ceremony held on February 2, 2026, at LONACI Studios in Biétry, Director General Dramane Coulibaly presented the institution’s annual results to the Board of Directors, senior management, and staff.
LONACI reversed CFA 413.9 billion in winnings to bettors during 2025, marking a 17% increase compared to the previous year. Contributions to the Ivorian government rose from CFA 15 billion to CFA 21 billion, representing a 40% increase.
Commissions paid to the lottery’s concessionaires also grew by 10%, reflecting the expansion of its national network of sales points. Despite the high level of redistributed winnings, LONACI expects a positive net result of approximately CFA 12.6 billion, underscoring disciplined financial management.
LONACI plans to solidify its position as a regional leader in the lottery and gaming sector. In 2026, the company aims to increase social and operational investments, raise its share capital from CFA 400 million to CFA 5 billion, and expand its digital and physical service offerings. Additionally, LONACI seeks to strengthen governance and improve national coverage while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and responsible gaming.
Director General Dramane Coulibaly emphasized the importance of sustainable growth and substantial redistribution to players, thanking staff and partners for their contributions to the positive results. Youssouf Fofana, President of the Board of Directors, expressed confidence in LONACI’s strategic direction and encouraged ongoing innovation and institutional excellence. Staff and social partners also praised the organization’s performance and social initiatives, highlighting the company’s employee recognition programs and community-focused projects.
