The LONASE Foundation has marked a new chapter with the formal handover of leadership from outgoing Director Pape Daouda Diatta to incoming Director Makane Diop.
The transition ceremony, held on October 1, 2026, marked an important moment for the Foundation as it reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining continuity in its mission and strengthening its social impact across communities.
The leadership handover represents more than a change in responsibility, highlighting the continued implementation of the Foundation’s programmes and the transfer of its vision and institutional experience to the new leadership.
The LONASE Foundation expressed its appreciation to Diatta for his commitment, support and contributions to the development of the organization during his tenure.
The Foundation also welcomed Diop to his new position and wished him success as he takes on the responsibility of leading its activities and advancing its social initiatives.
