The Malawi Gaming and Lotteries Authority (MAGLA) has concluded Africa Safer Gambling Week 2026 with a Responsible Gambling Awareness Outreach at Holy Family College of Health Sciences in Phalombe.

The outreach brought together students and members of the community to promote awareness of responsible gambling, player protection, and informed decision-making.

As part of the engagement, participants received information on safer gambling practices and the importance of making informed choices when participating in gambling activities.

The campaign also featured a performance by Malawian artist Driemo, who supported the initiative by amplifying the responsible gambling message and adding an entertainment element to the awareness event.

The outreach marked the conclusion of MAGLA’s week-long Africa Safer Gambling Week 2026 campaign, which focused on strengthening awareness of responsible gambling and player protection across Malawi.

MAGLA thanked all stakeholders, students, community members, and participants who contributed to the campaign and supported efforts to promote safer and more responsible gambling practices in the country.
