The one-day conference is being held at Labadi Beach Hotel and organized in strategic partnership with Ghanaian game developer Leti Arts. MTN says the event will focus on gaming, esports, mobile entertainment, and the wider creative economy across Africa.

Designed as a meeting point for the wider ecosystem, the conference brings together game developers and studios, as well as publishers, investors, educators, students, esports stakeholders, brands, policymakers, and other ecosystem partners.

The speaker lineup includes MTN Ghana CEO Stephen Blewett, chief digital officer Ibrahim Misto, Leti Arts CEO Eyram Tawia, Sea Monster CEO Glenn Gillis, Masseka Game Studio founder Teddy Kossoko, and Carry1st’s Dominion Eromosele. Additional speakers and representatives include Mobex Africa, VGS Esports, and the Esports Association Ghana.

The programme features keynotes, panels, workshops, showcases, and networking sessions aimed at exploring opportunities across Africa’s gaming and esports ecosystem. The MTN Gaming Conference is also part of the wider 2026 DigiFest programme, which includes additional conferences focused on AI, UI/UX, and digital skills.
