Liberia’s gaming industry is facing heightened regulatory scrutiny following action by the National Lottery Authority (NLA) against StarBet Liberia over alleged breaches of gambling laws, particularly concerning underage participation.
The NLA has issued a formal notice requiring the company’s management to appear before the Authority and justify why its operating license should not be suspended or revoked. The move marks a significant moment for regulatory enforcement in Liberia’s rapidly expanding betting sector.
