pawaTech Services Limited has announced that it will cease operations at its Rwanda Central Services Hub effective 20 May 2026, marking a significant step in the company’s evolution toward a more decentralized, technology-driven operating model across Africa.
This decision forms part of a broader technological transition in how the company delivers services across Africa. “Over two years ago, we established a centralized Customer Services Hub in Rwanda to deliver consistent, high-quality, multilingual support across our markets,” said pawaTech Director of Operations, Sven Niidu.
“The hub model served us well, but rapid advances in AI-driven quality control, Agentic AI, and robust digital playbooks now enable us to deliver even higher service standards from multiple locations without relying on a single centralized hub.” pawaTech is transitioning to a decentralized, locally responsive model by strengthening local license-holder offices across 15 African countries.
This approach will ensure that customer service teams operating under license holders continue to expand, creating more local employment opportunities. Their services will also be significantly enhanced through pawaTech’s advanced AI-powered technology.
The transition is expected to deliver several key benefits, including greater operational resilience through a distributed service network, improved scalability to better match market demand, more localized and market-responsive customer support, and enhanced service quality through real-time AI-driven quality assurance and seamless digital collaboration tools.
