Benin Launches TCE Lottery as 2026 Regional Event Approaches

Benin’s National Lottery (LNB) has launched a new round of qualification draws ahead of the 31st Tranche Commune Entente (TCE), the regional lottery bringing together Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Niger, and Togo.

The four-draw qualification campaign began on October 2, 2026. Niger will host this year’s regional event in Niamey from November 22 to November 29.

Players can enter for as little as FCFA 500, while the main regional draw offers a top prize of FCFA 20 million. In addition, selected winners will be given the chance to travel to Niamey, with the package including an air ticket, a week-long stay at a luxury hotel, and a tourist excursion.

Burkina Faso is running its own qualification process through LONAB, with Faso Loto draws scheduled throughout October.

For the 2026 TCE, there will be two main prize categories. The National Harmonized Programme offers prizes ranging from FCFA 100,000 to FCFA 500,000, while the Regional Extraordinary Programme provides prizes from FCFA 2 million up to FCFA 20 million.

Niger’s role as host follows Togo’s staging of the 2025 edition, reinforcing continued cooperation among West African national lotteries. With the initiatives now underway in Benin and Burkina Faso, momentum is building ahead of the November gathering in Niamey.
