Bet360 has confirmed that it operates under a license issued by the National Lottery of Côte d’Ivoire (LONACI), authorizing the platform to offer online sports betting, casino games and slot machines in the country. In a communiqué dated October 9, 2026, in Abidjan, Bet360 clarified its licensing status, brand identity and commitment to operating within Côte d’Ivoire’s legal and regulatory framework.
The company stated that its authorization was granted under a licensing agreement signed in Abidjan on April 28, 2026. The agreement permits Bet360 to operate sports betting, online casino games and slot machine services explicitly under the Bet360 brand. According to the communiqué, the platform conducts its activities in compliance with the legal and regulatory requirements governing gambling and online betting in Côte d’Ivoire.
The company also addressed its visual identity, stating that its logo, colors, typography and overall visual presentation were developed by professional design and communications experts as original elements of the Bet360 brand. Bet360 further emphasized that it is a distinct and independent brand, unaffiliated with any other national or international gambling or betting operator, company or organization.
The company added that any actual or perceived similarities between its brand and those of other operators are coincidental and do not imply any affiliation or responsibility on its part. Bet360 stated that it remains committed to protecting its name, logo and other distinctive brand elements. It reserved the right to take any necessary action against their unauthorized use.
Concluding the communiqué, the company thanked its users for their trust and reaffirmed its commitment to providing a safe, transparent and responsible gaming experience. The statement forms part of Bet360’s efforts to clarify its regulatory status and establish its independent brand identity in Côte d’Ivoire’s online betting and gaming market.
