Gambian operator BETESE Aviator has reported growth in turnover, player engagement, and retention since integrating QTech aggregation platform earlier this year, as the operator prepares to expand its casino and sportsbook offering.
The partnership initially focused on crash games, led by Aviator, before BETESE Aviator expanded its selection with additional crash titles from QTech’s network of more than 30 crash game suppliers. The operator also introduced multi-provider crash game tournaments tailored to its customers.
An instant win category was subsequently added to the platform. According to the companies, BETESE Aviator’s acquisition and retention metrics have exceeded its monthly projections within the first year of the collaboration.
QTech’s casino portfolio has also enabled BETESE Aviator to introduce a broader range of localized content, including lightweight games designed to perform across different device types and network conditions. Such products are particularly relevant in markets where users may face limited access to high-speed networks, varying handset capabilities, or higher mobile data costs.
The collaboration has also supported BETESE Aviator’s expansion beyond its initial crash-focused offering. The operator plans to add more casino and sportsbook content in the coming months, alongside QTech’s analytics, promotional, campaign, and marketing tools.
QTech is further supporting the operator’s sportsbook expansion through access to multiple sportsbook providers, including BETBY and Song88. The model is intended to give BETESE Aviator greater flexibility in adapting its sportsbook offering to local market requirements and trading needs.
BETESE Aviator also plans to introduce the sportsbook functionality across its network of retail street terminals in Gambia. Football accumulators are among the popular betting formats, with the company reporting that a 10-team 1X2 accumulator is the average multi-leg bet placed through its retail operation.
The operator said sportsbook features such as in-play betting and cashout could also create opportunities for cross-selling between sports betting and casino products, particularly alongside the popularity of crash games.
Joel Anyaegbu, Account Manager for the Region at QTech, said the company was pleased to work with BETESE Aviator and highlighted the importance of understanding local market conditions when developing gaming products for African markets.
“Staying local must remain paramount whether it’s a mobile channel or a street terminal,” Anyaegbu said. “In high-growth regions like Gambia, content diversity matters enormously because player demand evolves very quickly and it’s also shaped by local realities such as mobile usage, data costs, device types, and payment preferences.”
He added that BETESE Aviator’s adoption of QTech’s multi-sportsbook offering would provide access to providers such as BETBY and Song88, while creating opportunities to explore cross-selling between sportsbook and casino products.
Gregory Agofure, CEO of BETESE Aviator, said the operator was focused on combining a broad selection of gaming and sports betting content with products suited to the Gambian market.
“BETESE Aviator is dedicated to corralling the best market-leading games and sports betting opportunities, and aligning them with the best of Gambian culture,” Agofure said. “QTech understand that our customers expect the best gaming experience possible, and their local know-how and cutting-edge technology, allied to a collaborative way of working, have put us in pole position to navigate evolving demands in both casino and sportsbook.”
Agofure said Aviator had been an important driver of the operator’s initial growth, prompting the expansion into additional crash and instant win titles. He also pointed to gamification features such as live leaderboards and rewards, as well as sportsbook cashout functionality, as tools the operator is exploring to increase engagement.
With the QTech integration providing a single technical and commercial gateway to a wider content portfolio, BETESE Aviator is now preparing for its next phase of expansion across digital and retail channels in Gambia.
