ChatBet, a conversational betting technology provider, has partnered with iSolutions, a supplier of betting and gaming software, to make its messaging-based betting solution available to operators across Africa and other emerging markets. Under the agreement, operators using iSolutions’ platform will be able to integrate ChatBet’s conversational betting technology into their existing sportsbooks.
The integration allows players to search for sporting events, browse betting markets, build bet slips, and complete betting transactions through WhatsApp, Telegram, or web and in-app chat widgets. The partnership will make ChatBet’s technology available to operators using iSolutions’ iSBets sportsbook platform.
The conversational interface lets customers interact with the sportsbook using natural language, rather than navigating menus inside an app. According to the companies, players will be able to discover betting markets, create bet slips, and complete betting journeys through messaging platforms and embedded chat tools.
The solution is designed to operate across WhatsApp, Telegram, and chat widgets embedded on websites and mobile applications. ChatBet and iSolutions said they are already working on an initial operator deployment, with further launches expected across the iSolutions network. However, neither company disclosed the identity of the first operator nor provided a timeline for future rollouts.
The partnership places particular emphasis on Africa, where messaging applications are widely used for communication and digital interaction. The companies said combining iSolutions’ platform infrastructure and operator relationships with ChatBet’s conversational technology will allow sportsbook operators to offer conversational betting without building the capability themselves.
Josh Swerdlow, Founder and CEO of ChatBet, said that messaging is already the primary digital interface in many of the targeted markets. He noted that the goal is not to force players into another app, but to help them discover, engage, and transact through conversations they are already comfortable using.
Filippo Ceci, Co-Founder and Director of iSolutions, said the company’s aim is to integrate technology in line with the needs of its operator clients. He added that conversational betting is suited to Africa and other mobile-first markets and confirmed it will be rolled out across iSolutions’ operator network.
The new partnership follows ChatBet’s recent deployment with African sportsbook operator BolaBet during the FIFA Club World Cup. During the tournament, BolaBet customers could search for fixtures, explore betting markets, build bet slips, and place bets directly via WhatsApp through text messages, voice notes, and natural language conversations.
After the tournament, ChatBet said strong player adoption encouraged it to accelerate development, including plans to expand market coverage, add deeper conversational journeys, and broaden live betting functionality ahead of the new domestic football season along with the return of the English Premier League. The company also indicated it intends to extend the conversational betting experience to additional BolaBet markets through further integrations.
Unlike the BolaBet rollout, which focused on a single operator, the iSolutions agreement is designed for business-to-business distribution. By integrating ChatBet into the iSolutions platform, multiple operators using iSBets can access the conversational betting capability.
ChatBet develops technology that enables conversational betting for licensed operators, helping customers discover markets, build bet slips, and complete betting journeys through messaging and conversational interfaces.
