Betika DRC has successfully concluded the inaugural BETIKA x EUFKOL Tournament, reaffirming its commitment to grassroots football development and community empowerment in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The tournament reached its exciting finale on July 30, 2026, at Stade Manika in Kolwezi, where AF Shimbi emerged as champions after defeating AF Makal 3–1 in a thrilling final.
While the competition showcased the talent and passion of local football clubs, the initiative was designed to deliver a lasting impact beyond the game itself.
As part of the tournament, Betika DRC provided comprehensive support to all 22 participating clubs, equipping them with sports equipment to enhance training and match performance, as well as office equipment to strengthen club administration and day-to-day operations.
The initiative reflects Betika DRC’s broader vision of fostering sustainable football development by investing in both athletic excellence and institutional capacity. By supporting clubs on and off the field, the company aims to help build stronger, more professional football organizations capable of creating long-term opportunities for players, coaches, and local communities.
“The BETIKA x EUFKOL Tournament represents our commitment to developing football from the grassroots level. We believe that empowering clubs with the right resources, both sporting and administrative, lays the foundation for a stronger football ecosystem that benefits communities across the Democratic Republic of Congo,” Betika DRC said.
Betika DRC congratulates AF Shimbi on their championship victory and extends its appreciation to EUFKOL, all 22 participating clubs, supporters, volunteers, and stakeholders whose dedication and collaboration made the inaugural tournament a resounding success.
Through initiatives such as the BETIKA x EUFKOL Tournament, Betika DRC continues to invest in the future of Congolese football, strengthening communities and creating opportunities for the next generation of talent.
