Digitain has secured a National Manufacturer License from South Africa’s gambling regulatory authority, marking a significant step in the company’s expansion across regulated African markets.
The license allows Digitain to begin commercial discussions with prospective partners in South Africa while strengthening its position as a technology provider to licensed operators.
The National Manufacturer License reflects Digitain’s continued focus on regulatory compliance and responsible business practices as it expands its presence across Africa.
Commenting on the development, Arshak Muradyan, Group Chief Compliance Officer at Digitain, said the license represents an important milestone in the company’s regulatory journey.
“Receiving our National Manufacturer License in South Africa is another significant milestone in Digitain’s regulatory journey. Entering regulated markets has always been a key priority for us, and this milestone demonstrates our ongoing commitment to compliance, operational excellence and responsible business practices.”
Muradyan added that South Africa remains an important and fast-growing market for the company, with Digitain looking to establish partnerships with licensed operators and provide technology solutions tailored to the market.
The new license further supports Digitain’s position as a technology provider in regulated markets. The company offers a range of iGaming solutions, including its sportsbook, Centrivo iGaming platform, and gaming technology solutions.
Digitain said it will continue to maintain its focus on compliance, security and operational excellence as it expands its relationships with licensed operators.
The development also underlines the company’s broader commitment to Africa, where Digitain continues to invest in local partnerships, market knowledge and technology development.
