The FIFA World Cup 2026™—hosted across Canada, Mexico, and the United States—is set to reach millions of additional fans across Africa. SportyTV is proud to announce that it has secured free-to-air broadcast rights to 34 FIFA World Cup 2026™ matches across Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya, including the Opening Match and the Final.

This follows the network’s previously announced agreement to broadcast all 104 matches in South Africa, further extending SportyTV’s coverage across four major African markets. The matches will be available to audiences via television, YouTube, the SportyTV app, and its OTT platform. The package includes 17 group-stage matches and 17 knockout fixtures, giving fans access to some of the tournament’s most pivotal moments at no cost.

Beyond match coverage, SportyTV is investing in a comprehensive production strategy across its studios in Lagos and Madrid, supported by reporting teams deployed across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The initiative will feature daily news and magazine programmes, pre-match and post-match analysis, exclusive interviews, and original storytelling designed to bring fans closer to the tournament experience.
