A Female staff of Fortebet, in Adjumani Town Council, is nursing gunshot wounds after she was shot at left thigh by armed robbers.
The robbers made off with Shs130,000 from the betting centre after shooting and injuring Monica Acara, 26, who is undergoing treatment at a local hospital.
According to witnesses, two men armed with AK-47 rifles stormed the busy Fortebet betting centre on Saturday evening, one of them ordered everyone inside to remain still, while the other fired two live rounds, one of which struck a female staff in the left thigh.
