Gaming Realms Partner with Hollywoodbets as First Africa Marke Entry

Gaming Realms, a top provider of mobile-focused gaming content, has officially expanded into the South African market. This debut marks the company’s first entry into the African region. The expansion was made possible through a partnership with Hollywoodbets, one of South Africa’s most prominent betting and gaming brands.

Local players now have access to Gaming Realms’ diverse portfolio of Slingo titles. The offering includes popular games developed through unique intellectual property and brand partnerships. Notable titles now live for South African customers include Slingo Lucky Larry’s Lobstermania, Slingo Sweet Bonanza, and Slingo Xxxtreme.

Hollywoodbets operates an extensive network of both land-based and online platforms with an established customer base. To facilitate this launch, the integration was managed through Hollywoodbets’ local aggregation partner, Light & Wonder. This collaboration ensures a smooth rollout of the Slingo content across the operator’s digital channels.

The entry into South Africa is a key part of Gaming Realms’ global growth strategy. The company is currently live in more than 30 regulated markets. Looking ahead through 2026, the provider plans to further increase its presence across the African continent and other emerging jurisdictions.

Gareth Scott, Chief Commercial Officer at Gaming Realms, emphasized that adding new regulated markets is essential for the company’s growth. He described the partnership with Hollywoodbets as a significant “signal of intent.” Scott noted that the African region offers great potential and a unique opportunity to reach entirely new audiences.

Wayde Dorkin, Head of Product at Hollywoodbets, shared this enthusiasm for the new content. He explained that Slingo brings a unique experience to the market by blending elements of traditional slots with strategic gameplay. According to Dorkin, the content is already resonating with a wide demographic of South African players.
