Uganda’s boxing scene receives a significant boost as international music star and entrepreneur Mr. Eazi extends his support to Zebra Boxing Club in Kampala. The club, founded by the late Isaac Ssenyange, also known as Zebra Mando, former captain of Uganda’s National Boxing Team, is set for refurbishment under Mr. Eazi’s Chop Gaming initiative.

Mr. Eazi’s involvement promises to empower the community by providing a safe space for young boxers to hone their skills and foster personal growth through the discipline of boxing. This aligns with the club’s mission to impact lives positively and showcases sports’ transformative power in community development.

This is not Mr. Eazi’s first foray into supporting boxing; he has previously contributed to initiatives in Accra, Ghana, and Cameroon, including the renovation of Accra’s Bronxy Boxing Gym.

His passion for African development is evident in his investment in Choplife Gaming and his role as a brand ambassador and shareholder of betPawa’s parent company. Mr. Eazi has been instrumental in sponsoring sports teams and endorsing athletes across Africa.

The support from Mr. Eazi comes at a crucial time when Ugandan boxing is experiencing a resurgence, driven by new talent emerging on regional and international stages. Despite challenges like limited funding and infrastructure, Mr. Eazi’s backing is expected to inspire a new generation of boxers and elevate Uganda’s boxing industry to new heights.
